Shipping & Returns

Important note regarding overseas shipping:

Import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

We strongly advise to check the latest import regulations in your country for information on applicable fees, as these vary and are subject to frequent change.​

Shipping

  • UK orders: FREE ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY to mainland addresses.
  • International orders:  We deliver to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. Charges vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.
  • Important notes:
  • Our courier partners cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
  • Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or local charges, which are not included in our prices. These vary by country and may change - please check local regulations.
  • Pre-orders and in-stock books: If your order contains both a pre-order and a book that is currently in stock, the items will be shipped together once the pre-order becomes available. If you would like the in-stock book to be shipped separately and sooner, please place two separate orders, or get in touch and we will be happy to help.
  • As a small-batch publisher, we don’t benefit from large-scale shipping discounts. The rates shown are the lowest secure, tracked options we can guarantee.
  • For bulk orders (3+ copies), please contact us at info@mayakpublishing.co.uk.
  • If your country isn’t listed at checkout, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
 
Returns
  • Returns accepted within 30 days if unopened and undamaged. Shipping managed by buyer. 
  • We cannot accept returns for non-faulty items after these periods.
 
Damaged Items
We take great care with packaging, but if your parcel arrives damaged, we kindly ask you to help us and follow these instructions, so we can process the claim promptly:
  1. Keep all packaging,
  2. Photograph the damage,
  3. Promptly email info@mayakpublishing.co.uk with photos of the damaged goods and packaging.
Our couriers require this evidence to process claims, and as a small publisher, we rely on their refunds to cover your replacements or shipping charges.
